Community growing at the heart of Cutteslowe Park.

About

ABOUT CUTTESLOWE GREENHOUSE

Cutteslowe Greenhouse is a new community project which seeks to create an opportunity for people to connect with nature and each other. We are working to secure a lease on the greenhouses located in the centre of Cutteslowe Park, as a base for our future activities. In the meantime, we put on regular events in the area, with the aim of strengthening existing community connections and learning nature-related skills from each other. Check our Events page for more information, sign up to our newsletter, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

WHAT'S GOING ON AT CUTTESLOWE GREENHOUSE

We are in the process of setting up a new, community-led social enterprise which will help us connect with nature and each other. We're working to secure a long-term lease on the greenhouses in Cutteslowe Park. In the meantime, we're putting on pop-up events in the park, with opportunities to volunteer. See below to learn about our current activities, or go to the Volunteering section to sign up to help with future events. If you'd like to support our project through becoming a member or making a one-off donation, head to the Membership section.

Looking for new Trustees!

Do you feel passionate about bringing the greenhouses back into community use? Do you have skills in fundraising or business planning to help us get there? Are you able to commit regular voluntary time for the next 3-6 months to do this work? If so we'd love to hear from you. Read more about the Trustee role and how to apply on the link below.

We are currently accepting applications on a rolling basis.

We're recruiting!

We are recruiting for two new positions, to start as soon as possible. We're seeking a Project Manager to help us complete some necessary steps towards securing the lease on the greenhouses. We are also looking for a Nature Hubs Coordinator who will oversee the work done on our community allotment, orchard, and other community engagement work. Both art part-time, short term contracts.
