Cutteslowe Greenhouse is a community-led horticultural and wellbeing project restoring historic greenhouses in Cutteslowe Park into a thriving hub for food growing, nature connection, learning, and community life.
After several years of community campaigning, we secured a 25-year community lease and have been open to the public for a full season. This has included regular plant and food sales, community growing sessions, educational programmes, successful fundraising, and significant capital improvements.
We're entering a crucial new phase: growing our team and volunteers, launching a 3-year strategy and business plan, strengthening community partnerships, and putting the systems we need to put in place for the project to thrive and scale.

Board Trustees (Volunteer Position)
We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to build something well at an early stage, rather than manage an existing system. The most important quality we are looking for in our future trustees is professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm; we need and want people that are as convinced of the value and power of community and horticulture in people’s lives.
In particular, we are seeking trustees with experience of fundraising, people and human resources, business planning or strategy development, governance, community or volunteer projects, horticulture, or educational work with children and schools. This could be from your professional background, volunteering, or as part of a similar board. However, we would love to hear from anyone who is excited by the project.
